The City Church

We are hosting a block party for the church, the community, neighbors, family, friends, young ‘uns, hungry people, bored people looking for something to do, etc.

That means EVERYONE come!

The party will be fun, food-filled, and FREE!!!

The event will be Saturday, Aug 10 from 4-6 pm at the City Church at 617 West 500 South in Brigham City.

2019 Easter events will be:

* Thurs eve, 6 pm at the church building in Brigham City (First Baptist, 617 W 500 S) – Church Potluck in celebration of the Passover. A Messianic Jew will be explaining the meaning behind traditions and foods of a Seder Passover meal.
* Fri eve, 6 pm at Brigham City church building – Celebration of Good Friday with worship music and short sermon.
* Sun morning, 7:30 am at Pioneer Park in Brigham City – Community-wide Easter Sunrise Service.
* Sun morning before the Easter Service – Easter Breakfast provided by the church at the Brigham City church building.
* Sun morning, 10:45 am – Easter Service at Brigham City church building. Worship music and sermon. Come join in celebration of our Savior Jesus’ triumph over sin and death, and His gifts to us!!

During the week of Thanksgiving, Sunday services on Nov. 25 will be only held in Brigham City. They will be at 10:45 am at our new location inside First Baptist Church, 617 West 500 South. Everyone, that day please come join us there in offering thanks to our great God!

No afternoon services will be held in Malad that day.

As a reminder, on other weeks, Sunday morning services are now held in Brigham City and we no longer meet in Tremonton. Sunday afternoon services will continue to be held in Malad.

May 27 ~ The Malad service will be at the usual 2:30 time, but there won’t be a potluck.
June 3 ~ Potluck will be held after the Malad service. Come feast and fellowship!

June 9-10 ~ CHURCH CAMPOUT near Devil’s Creek Reservoir, north of Malad, Idaho.
June 10 ~ Sunday morning worship service held at Devil’s Creek Reservoir instead of the usual NHCF Sunday meetings.

June 24 ~ ‘Church in the Park’ event Sunday morning in Brigham City. Volunteers needed! **Please let Pastor Joe know if you can help.

The Men’s Tribe is working on repairs to the fishing boat that was generously donated to the church. They will be meeting Mon., May 21, in Brigham City at 6:30 pm.

Our usual Sunday morning services will not be held in Tremonton. Pastor Joe will be preaching as a guest pastor to help at First Baptist Church at 617 West 500 South in Brigham City in 10:45. Everyone is welcome to attend there!
Our Malad services will be held as usual, at 2:30 pm.

This Saturday, April 14, the Women’s Group will be meeting at 2 pm at the Tremonton church building. We are studying the book “The Remarkable Women of the Bible” by Elizabeth George. Please come! Fellowship and learning with other women–what could be better?

On December 31, New Year’s Eve day, we will hold normal Sunday services in both Tremonton and Malad.

At 5:30 that evening, we will have a New Year’s get-together at the Tremonton building. Everyone is welcome! Drop in for however long you might want to come, and feel free to bring any games, food or fun you want to share! Hope to see you!

This year, Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. We will have Sunday worship services in Tremonton at the usual 10:30 a.m. time, but will not have a meeting in Malad that day. We will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service that 6:30 evening at the Tremonton church with worship singing and a short sermon.

Come gather together with us Sunday! And this Christmas may we each have an awe-filled personal celebration of Jesus’ coming!

We will be holding a potluck at 6:30 pm this Thursday, April 13, in honor of the Passover and Christ’s Last Supper. We will have a short service, and discuss symbolic parts of the Passover meal. The event will be at the Tremonton church building.
