Both older & younger guys are invited to come. This would also make a great father/son activity!

All Christmas Sunday services to be held in Tremonton
This Christmas Sunday, Dec. 25, church services will all be held at the Tremonton building at the normal 10:30 am time. Malad residents are also invited to come down!
Back-to-school sales are great for Operation Christmas Child supplies
Our church goal this year is to fill 200 gift shoeboxes to be sent to children in need around the world. Back-to-school sales provide an excellent opportunity to collect school supplies that are needed by so many children.
Scroll through this collection of photos to see how these shoeboxes are bringing childhood delight as well as the Good News of God’s Gift to children around the world.
Two concerts to be held at the end of August
The Sweet Sorrows band–Sammy & Kylie Horner–is coming to Utah the end of this month. They will be performing at our Tremonton church building on Wed, Aug 31, at 6:30 pm. They will also be performing a house concert in Malad the Monday or Tuesday beforehand. (Stay tuned for further details.) Donations appreciated.
The Sweet Sorrows music is a collection of worship, Celtic, folk, Americana and other genres. Come enjoy a performance!
Malad Sunday services to be held at homes during summer
Services in Malad this summer will be held out-of-doors at people’s homes, where we can enjoy sunshine along with learning the Word. Each week there will be a note on the Malad church door giving the location or a phone number to call for info. Days when it is rainy or very hot, we will go ahead and hold services in the church, instead.
Please come join in learning & fellowshipping, wherever we are meeting!
** IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sunday, July 10, services will be held in the church, due to forecast for rain.
Annual Church Campout this coming weekend!
Come join us to fellowship, eat, fish, worship, and/or camp overnight anytime the evening of Friday, June 10, through mid-day Sunday, June 12. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. If you’d like to borrow some camping equipment, check the NHCF Facebook group page for who to contact.
This year, the campout will be at Devil’s Creek Reservoir, 9 miles north of Malad, Idaho. (Click for map.) Drive across the dam to get to our reserved site, which is at the east end. It is right next to a drop-off into deep water, so keep a careful eye on kids & bring safety vests, as appropriate. There is an area with shallow water on the other side of the dam where you can take the kids for swimming, also.
Friday — Church will provide dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips (& marshmallows, of course!)
Saturday — Breakfast provided by church. Bring your own lunch. For dinner, please bring something for potluck.
Sunday — Breakfast provided by church. Lunch after services: church will provide sub sandwiches; please bring a sandwich topping or chips; lemonade provided.
Saturday is Free Fishing Day at the reservoir–no license required! (FYI–Sat. will probably be a bit busy with other fishers, too!) Bring your own poles & bait, or we will have a few extra poles to share. We’ll also have fish-cooking equipment there, or bring ice and you can take your fish home for later. You can also fish Friday or Saturday if you get a license.
Sunday morning, we will have worship and a sermon at the camp at 10:30 am. We will have a breakfast at camp beforehand, and lunch afterward. Services will not be held at the Tremonton & Malad buildings that day.
Messianic Jew will be leading our Passover potluck this Wednesday
Judah Becker is a convert to Messianic Judaism, a movement that integrates belief in Jesus as Savior with elements of Judaism. Judah will lead us in the traditional rituals of a Passover Seder meal, and will explain the meaning of each one and how they point to Jesus Christ.
The meal will be at 6:30 this Wednesday, April 27, at the Tremonton church building at 19 West Main St. Everyone is invited!
If you can, bring a dish to share (no pork, please), but whether or not you get a chance to grab something, please come!!
Judah and his wife Katie run Mercy House Ministries, which helps rescue child slaves and establish self-supporting homes for them.
